Terms and conditions
At time of booking and confirmation a deposit of 20 percent of the tour price is payable. This is to confirm your booking and not refundable. The balance must be paid at least 30 days before date of departure. If a booking is made within 30 days before departure the full amount is payable upon confirmation. As long as the required deposit has not been received the booking is not confirmed and can be cancelled without prior notice. We kindly ask you to fax or scan us the bank receipt. Any bookings for high season (July to November as well as December) will have to be pre-payed up to 50% immediately! Please note to also book your tour at least a couple of months in advance, unless you are prepared to camp especially in high season as from July till October.
Included in the price
Car and fuel, indigenous tour guide (fluent in English, German, Afrikaans and Otjiherero), accommodation, park fees for the game reserves and national parks, all meals except those in selfcatering rest camps like e.g. Etosha, Gross Barmen and Waterberg. In these camps you may either buy items for breakfast, lunch and barbecue beforehand with your tour guide or have your meals in restaurants. The tour price can differ according to the number of participants, season, type of car, hotel category and exchange rate.
English is Namibia's national language, but still a majority of the people prefers to talk Afrikaans. The main roads are tarred, however it can become quite a challenge in the rural areas to drive on gravel roads with potholes or in thick sand. We believe that no-one is better equipped to show a visitor around than a local who knows the environment. Therefore we strongly recommend to book your tours with an local guide, who also takes over the driving. You will travel safer and you will be able to get in touch and communicate more easily with the people of the country.
Not included in the Tour price
Air ticket, health insurance, items of personal nature, drinks and telephone costs. Tours will be conducted throughout the year as long as there is a minimum of two participants. With this we can assure you an exclusive, private and individual trip.
In case of cancellation the following fees will apply:
up to 31 days before departure approx. 30 %
30 - 0 days before departure up to 100 %
In some instances higher cancellation fees may be imposed depending on the tour.
