Namibia - a dream trip

For years we have been planning to travel to Namibia.

After long researches on the internet we came across African Desk. We were very impressed by the mission statement and the idea behind it, namely the meeting of cultures at eye level and the social commitment. So, we got in touch with African Desk. After intensive and very personal e-mail correspondence, Elizabeth booked our dream vacation. The planning was perfect and individually tailored to our wishes. And the reality exceeded our expectations by far. In addition to the amazing nature, it was about the people and the encounters that made this trip a truly memorable experience.

Meeting such special people as Floyd and Elizabeth, spending so much time with them and becoming friends was more than we could have expected. It was really something very special to have Floyd showing and explaining the country. We learned to love Namibia and its people during the 3 weeks.

And... we will come back next year to learn more about this country - and of course again with Floyd!
